E. Fontanero St. & N Weber St. This is a casual ride of 15 to 30 miles. This ride often explores trails where a mountain bike or hybrid bike is recommended (but technical mountain biking is rare). For some reason, stopping for a snack occurs frequently.

We'll meet at 6pm to ride at 6:15pm, and ride for 45-60 minutes. All bikes are welcome - just make sure it's in good working order and that you have a helmet. Relieve your stress from the week and enjoy some good company. This will be a weekly ride so we hope to see you often!

Location: Garden of the Gods Chick-fil-A 575 Garden Of The Gods Rd Colorado Springs, CO 80907 The 11-mile ride will leave from the Garden of the God’s Chick-fil-A parking lot and will finish there with a free Chick-fil-A breakfast. Helmets are required. The rides will continue every Saturday through the summer, getting progressively more challenging in order to train riders for the Chick-fil-A Ride for Heroes at Glen Eyrie Conference Center and Castle on Saturday, Sept. 10. The 14- and 28-mile bike rides will be followed by the Chick-fil-A Patriots’ Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Glen Eyrie and will raise money for local hometown heroes organizations, including Colorado Springs Professional Firefighters, Pikes Peak Region Peace Officers Memorial and The Home Front Cares. Note: These routes often go out of the city and possible water stops can be few and far between, please bring plenty of water!

Wednesday, May 16 - Bicycling with traffic for mutual benefit, A City Green Bag Lunch-n-Learn, will be held over the noon lunch hour, from 12:11 to 12: 49 p.m., at the City Administration Building, 30 S. Nevada, in Suite 102. The League of American Bicyclists certified instructor and City Traffic Engineer Employee Anthony Pratt will share his tips plus bicycle innovations. Attendees are encouraged to bring and enjoy their lunches during the presentation. Those who come also have the opportunity to win a door prize tote bag made from reused City banners. Each month, the City Office of Innovation and Sustainability sponsors a lunch-n-learn topic on an environmental issue.
